We are excited to announce that BrilliantTrips is offering our Australian Volunteer Adventure trip, operated by International Student Volunteers, at $1,000 off. This special discount is available for our August 7 departure and space is limited. So book now. If you are a student and want to receive Academic Credit for your involvement, you’re in luck!
The Australia Volunteer Adventure allows you to participate in a hands-on Volunteer Work Project with such host organizations as the Australian Wildlife Conservancy, Walkabout Wildlife Park, and the Department of Sustainability & Environment along with a host of other esteemed organizations. In 2007, nearly 700 ISV participants were involved in 81 various conservation projects, based in remote, rural, and coastal areas across Australia. Some of the projects allowed students and volunteer participants to: work counting koalas and planting koala food, monitor Orange Bellied Parrots and construct penguin boxes at Phillip Island.
After the Volunteer Work Project, you get the amazing chance to travel throughout Australia from Sydney up to Cape Tribulation. Along the way you’ll have the chance to: surf Byron Bay (the eastern most point of Australia), discover Fraser Island (the largest sand island in the world) with its dingoes and shipwrecks and scuba dive or snorkel on the Great Barrier Reef.
Sometimes we are asked, “Why should I pay to volunteer?” It is a good question and the answer is simple. The Program Fees are applied to transportation, accommodation, meals, project leaders, project organization and administration. Organizing a trip through BrilliantTrips and ISV ensures you will volunteer with a reputable and sustainable organization with established support systems in place. The safety of its participants is an utmost priority and in each country there is a country coordinator who assesses the local conditions, directs the program, and oversees ISV’s field staff.
So go ahead and sign up today for a trip that’s so brilliant you can add it to your resume.
