Last night we received a tweet from @deem2 looking for ideas for a girls’ weekend to someplace warm on a shoestring budget.

After a few minutes of surfing around BrilliantTrips.com, we found a weekend getaway to Los Angeles including: non-stop airfare from St. Louis on American, accommodation at the Ramada Plaza Hotel (near Beverly Hills and Sunset Blvd), and a compact car. Total cost: $328 per person based on 4 people traveling.

la1Upon arriving in Los Angeles, we would suggest heading straight to your hotel to check in and get settled. Once everyone has had a chance to freshen up and put on their party clothes, head out for a night on the Sunset Strip where there will be plenty going on until the wee hours of the morning. After sleeping off a girls’ night out on the strip, get in the car and drive west, all the way down Sunset Blvd. Once you reach the Pacific Coast Highway, head north and spend the day hanging around Malibu. Visit Malibu Country Mart where you’ll find shops, coffee shops, delis and restaurants and perhaps a star or two, then spend the day at our favorite beach in the LA area, Zuma Beach. Afterwards, be sure to stop by Gladstones on the PCH for a Mai Tai before heading back for another night out on the strip. On Sunday, sleep in before heading to the Saddle Ranch (you will probably know where this is by now) for a big breakfast. Head back to the hotel, check out and then head down to the Manhattan Beach/Hermosa Beach/Redondo Beach area. Enjoy another day at the beach and chill out until you have to head over to the airport which is only a short drive from here.

To book this trip, please visit BrilliantTrips.com. If at any point you need help during the booking process, you know where to find us.

Fares starting from $49 each way!

Hmm…it’s about 75 in LA right now, so for those outside of CA that probably sounds warm but for those of us in Norcal it’s just downright frigid!! This sounds like a fun weekend and I can’t wait to try it, thanks for sharing!
