Well, i ve sailed in couple of places on the list but you should definitly try sailing in Croatia and adriatic sea.. it s beautiful.. lots of places to anchor ,brautiful marinas , friendly people .. everything is amazing.. hope you ll try it.

Getting an experienced skipper with very good local knowledge is usually a great idea. That way you really get to see all the jewels, all those beautiful beaches that you would not even be able to reach from land…etc… That is my tip.

Sailing in St. Vincent and the Grenadines is also tops – and outside of the hurricane belt. We like doing the shared cabin sailings – all pleasure, no work. You book one cabin (of 4) on a big cat and let the captain and cook sail you away. Did a fabulous sail in Tahiti with Archipels.com. Moorings also offers this type of cruising. Heaven!
