Barcelona for Sports Enthusiasts

fc-barcaYesterday, while adding a new line of sightseeing tours to the product offering of BrilliantTrips, one tour in particular jumped out at me as something of extra special interest: a Barcelona sports tour. It’s an all day excursion that focuses on Barcelona’s football (soccer) and Olympic history. Participants will see the F.C. Barcelona Stadium, or Nou Camp, legendary throughout the football (soccer) world as being one of the most imposing stadiums for visiting teams to play in. The Olympic Stadium, symbol of the 1992 Olympic Games which saw the return of South Africa and Cuba to the Olympics, is also a stop along the way and participants will see the Olympic torch which sits high on the mountain overlooking Barcelona.

The tour departs from most hotels and includes a local guide, hotel pick-up/drop-off, transport and entrance fees.
