It was a great time to be there! Spent a fair amount of time in the pub enjoying the spectacle but the outdoors was also spectacular! I was there back in Summer 1998, and I remember walking back to my lodging from one of the pubs in the evening and looking up at the dark sky and stars and enjoying how peaceful and quiet it was. I also took the boat to the Aran Islands, which was a bit bumpy (and wet) on the way out. Ahhh Doolin.
