Designed around the theme of a giant African calabash, the revamped stadium will host the opening and the final matches. South Africa has made a major investment in building new stadiums and upgrading existing stadiums. Ten different stadiums throughout South Africa will host the 64 games of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
