Eighteen kilometers northeast of Ponta Delgada, lies the small town of Ribeira Grande on the Azorean island of Sao Miguel. Picturesquely located on a volcanic plateau above the sea, the town’s charming municipal garden is home to some magnificent specimens of the New Zealand Christmas tree.
That little park there is both oceanfront and river front and the park right next to it has free wi-fi!!!
