Tips for Getting Around Prague

Prague has a well organized and extensive public transportation system. Its network includes metro and tram services that serve the city center and outlying areas and city buses that serve Prague’s immediate surroundings outside of the city. Tickets can be purchased at metro stations, newspaper stands and vending machines at select stops and are based on time traveled. Ticket types include 20 minutes for 18 CZK, 75 minutes for 26 CZK and daily passes ranging from 1 to 5 days. Airport transfers on the Airport Express are available for 50 CZK.
